Sunday Scroll is a weekly download of whatever caught my eye—no agenda, just a curated mix of thoughts, links, and musings from the past week. Light, digestible, and perfect for the digital hoarder in all of us.

What I Couldn’t Stop Thinking About → What remains of us after we’re gone? The other week, I visited The Morgan Library Museum and they had an exhibition up about novelist Franz Kafka. A hypochondriac of a man gone too seen after falling ill with tuberculosis of all things.
The exhibition, on loan from the University of Oxford, highlighted Kafka’s request to his close friend Max Brod to burn his journals upon his death. Yet his friend, a die-hard supporter and admirer of his work, ignored said request, and instead worked tirelessly to publish and promote Kafka’s work. It’s through said friend that Kafka’s work was solidified in history, a story not unique to the pair. It makes me wonder how I would want my own ‘legacy’ handled, how far my need for control would allow my spirit to rest or seek revenge if this happened to me. I don’t have an answer, but it’s something to think about, especially as the generation leaving the longest trail of digital breadcrumbs to who we are (or were), don’t you think?
Media Diet → Drew and I spent the last couple of nights watching the latest season of Black Mirror, and to say it was lackluster would be an understatement. The episodes were alright at best, and very celebrity-heavy. There were some nods back to previous seasons, like Bandersnatch, but altogether nothing to write home about. In contrast, we saw Sinners this weekend, and now that movie, starring Michael B. Jordan, was incredible. A merging of black American history with vampire lore, and it was so creatively done, there wasn’t a moment that you knew for sure what was coming next.

Swan Lake tickets; American ballerina Gillian Murphy is retiring this year and will perform her final swan song this summer, and we scored tickets!
“spring coats” because I’m on the hunt (send me your recs!)
The menu to this French restaurant, Touché, came with a surprise special—my boyfriend failed to mention that his ex would be the host and the first person we’d see. To be fair, he didn’t know until she texted asking if he was dumb. We ordered a mushroom dessert, and I swear, I’ll never be that adventurous again.
Michelle Obama; I needed a clear answer on the divorce rumor. It’s been debunked by the woman herself.
Bryan Cupps; I came across the daughter of this man, who alleges that he’s the original start to pizza-gate, and the front behind essentially the biggest trafficking ring there’s ever been, and that he even trafficked her to Steve Jobs (of Apple) as a child. There’s something to do, we Free Masons too, but I fell asleep before I could look any further.
I was looking up Travis Barker’s Punk’d episode from 2003, and came across this image, which feels cursed, so it’s only right to share with you all.
Something That Made Me Laugh → I don’t engage with anything Tim Dillon, but alas, I have a boyfriend, so that often means hearing about him against my will. Drew showed me this Netflix special, This is Your Country, inspired by Jerry Springer, and it did make me chuckle more than I’d like to admit.
Something I Bought, Something I Didn’t →
Indulgence → This bucket hat, because in case it wasn’t obvious, I went to Syracuse. I promptly left this at the restaurant last night after purchasing, so here’s to hoping I get it back after Easter Sunday.
Self-Restraint → Another week, another bag I didn’t buy. This one is from Low Classics, another fave of mine, and I’m just torn between the black and brown. This is my LV Neverfull.
Looks I Loved → Ralph Lauren’s FW25 Romantics made their way down the runway this week. It looks closer to something you’d see coming out of McQueen, but it’s honestly right up my alley. Some favorites from the collection included:
Parting Thoughts…
The weather is getting hotter, and it’s only right that I do the same. I’ll see you outside.

look forward to this every week 🙏
Honored to have made the list. And you’re already hot. Let’s go be hot together outside!
